Ingredients
1/4 jackfruit cut into pieces
3 cup boiled rice
1 bay leaves
1 black cardamom
2-3 black peppers
1/2 inch cinnamon
2 cloves
1 tsp cumin seeds
4 big onion chopped
4 big tomato chopped
5-6 chopped garlic cloves
2-3 green chillies chopped
1/2 cup curd
1 tsp Tumeric powder
1 tbsp red chilly powder
1 tbsp garam masala
1 tbsp coriander and cumin powder
Method
First cut jackfruit into cubes , then in a pan or kadia add water and boil jackfruit pieces by adding 1 tbsp oil and salt init for 10-15 min till it get cooked ,
Now once it get cooked , remove from water and let come down to room temperature.
The deep fry the cooked jackfruit into oil till golden fry.
Now take pan add 3 tbsp ghee, add cumin seeds once it start sprinkle , add chopped onion and fry till golden brown, now add chopped garlic and green chillies, cook till raw aroma goes away.
Now add black pepper, black cardamom , cinnamon, bay leaves, cloves
Add chopped tomatoes, add tumeric powder ,salt
Cook for few minutes. Add all the spices garam masala, coriander cumin powder
Add curd cook for few minutes till the curd start to leave oil ,then add the jackfruit pieces which are deep fry in oil .
Now add first layer of rice, then second layer of jackfruit masala gravy, and again third layer of left over rice and masala mix
Served it with curd or any raita
