1 cup moong dal vadi
1 tomato chopped fine(optional)
4 tbsp oil
1 tsp red chilly powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp coriander cumin powder
1/2 tsp garam masala
1 1/2 cup water
1/4 tsp mustard seeds
1/4 tsp cumin seeds
Salt as per taste
Method
First fry moong dal vadi in 2 tbsp oil for few minutes remove it on absorbant paper.
Take kadai, add oil then add mustard seeds, cumin seeds,chopped tomato. Cook it for few minutes.
Add all spices turmeric powder, red chilly powder,corriander cumin powder, garam masala, salt . Mix well evertything.
Add fried moong dal vadi and water.
cover it with lid and cook it for 7-8 minutes on low flame till moong dal vadi get cooked properly.
