Ingredients:

Boiled Potatoes – 2 (Peeled & Grated)
Chopped Onion – 1 small (Optional)
Matar (Peas) – 3 tbsp
Finely Chopped Capsicum – 2 tbsp
Grated Carrot – 2 tbsp
Sweet Corn – 3 tbsp
Red chilli powder – 1/2 tsp
salt to taste
Amchur – 1/4 tsp
chaat masala – 1/2 tsp
Fine chopped coriander leaves – 2 tbsp
ginger-garlic paste- ½ tsp
Bread Crumbs – 1/2 cup
Maida – 2 tbsp
Corn Flour – 2 tbsp
½ cup water
oil for deep frying

 

Method:


Take 2 boiled potatoes (Peeled & Grated) in a large mixing bowl. Now add Onion, capsicum, peas, carrot, corn & Coriander leaves to it. Mix them all with hands.

After that add chilli powder, amchur, chaat masala, ginger garlic paste and salt in it. Mix them all. Note – If you don’t eat onion & garlic then you can skip them, in place of that Just add little grated ginger & 1/4 tsp of garam masala for flavour.

Now add 1/4 cup of bread crumbs to it and knead a soft dough of whole mixture. If it is too loose then add little more bread crumbs to it so that it can bind well.

Prepare small balls of this mixture

Prepare maida & corn flour paste, it should not be too thin or too thick.

Now one by one dip balls in that paste and further coat it with bread crumbs from all sides. This is secret behind crispy crust of these type of snacks.

Now deep fry these balls in hot oil on medium flame till they turn golden brown.

Insert a toothpick in all lollipops

You can serve it with green chutney and sauce.
