A crunchy Chinese starter which is same as a the Manchurian the only difference is that the Manchurian are wrapped with the boiled noodles and deep fry it and served it with schezwan sauce . A yummy starter Manchurian wrapped ball can be made on any occasion or even when the guest arrives at home.
For the Manchurian Balls
1 Cup Shredded Cabbage
1/2 Cup Shredded/ Grated Carrot
1/4 Cup Capsicum, finely chopped
4 Tablespoon Cornstarch/ Cornflour
8 Tablespoon All purpose Flour (Maida)
1 Teaspoon Salt, or to taste
1 tbsp schezwan sauce
1/2 Teaspoon Black Pepper
1 tbsp red chilly sauce
1 Teaspoon Soy Sauce
Oil for deep frying
In a bowl add the grated cabbage add salt and keep aside for few minutes to the cabbage start to leave the access water . Now squeeze the water of water with help of hand. Add grated carrot , capsicum , red chilly sauce , soya sauce and schezwan sauce add corn flour and all purpose flour mix well everything properly . Make small round from it .
If it is stick add some amount of the corn flour .
Wrap the ball properly with boiled noodles and then deep fry it in oil at low flame till golden brown .
Serve it hot with schezwan sauce.
