chatakedar aloo

Ingredients

6-7 Boiled potato
3 tomato
2 onion
6 dry red chilly
4-5 garlic cloves
1/2 inch ginger
1 clove
1/2 inch cinnamon stick
1 small bay leaf
1 tsp red chilly powder
1 tsp garam masala
1/2 tsp coriander cumin powder
salt
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
dry fenugreek leaves
4 tbsp curd
1/2 tsp cumin seeds(jeera)
oil

Method

In a pan add 1 tbsp oil ,add quarter size boiled potato, add pinch turmeric powder, red chilly
powder.saute it for 2 minutes.

In a mixture grinder add tomato, onion,garlic cloves, ginger, 4 dry red chilly,1 clove, cinnamon, bay leaf, make puree from it by adding little water.

Take pan add oil, add cumin seeds saute it start to crackle, add 2 dry red chilly. Now add
the puree saute if for 10-12 minutes still it start to leave oil.

Now add all the spices turmeric powder, red chilly powder, garam masala, cumin coriander
powder and salt. mix well everything properly.

Now add curd and 1/2 cup water.

Add saute potatoes, dry fenugreek leaves and cook it for minutes covering the lid.

garnish it with coriander leaves.
